A Widget Screen is utilized to host Widgets. The most common use of a Widget Screen is to correlate with a Bottom Navigation Button (Ex: Home Screen).
A widget screen can have an unlimited combination of widgets.
Types of Widgets
Header Image
- The Header Image is an image that appears at the top of the Widget Screen.
- Supported image formats are: JPEG, PNG. File size must not exceed 20.0 MB.
- Add corner radius to image header: Creates rounded edges to the Image corners.
Add corner shadow to image header: Creates small shadow under the Image.
Note: the Header Image is not clickable.
Image Widget
- The Image Widget is a custom image that can be clickable with a redirect. Supported image formats are: JPEG, PNG. File size must not exceed 20.0 MB. Recommended size: Width: 654px Height: unlimited.
- Image Widget has two display options:
- Card Style Display: Adds marginal spacing around the Image Widget.
- Full Width Display: Stretches the Image Widget to the screens border.
- Redirection Options:
- The Image Widget can be clickable. Click + Add in App Redirect or + Add URL. Select the desired in App Redirect or enter a URL.
- Segmentation:
- The Image Widget can be segmented to display only to certain audiences. (Ex. A Register tile that disappears after a user has completed Registration)
- Select the Segment dropdown to choose the Audience Segment for the Image Widget.
Title and Subtitle Widget
- Displays a title and text on the Widget Screen.
Call to Action Button (CTA)
- A Call to Action Button (CTA) is a clickable button that can redirect to a URL or a section within the app. A CTA button may include an icon.
- Redirection Options:
- Click + Add in App Redirect or + Add URL. Select the desired in App Redirect or enter a URL.
- Segmentation:
- The CTA button can be segmented to display only to specific audiences. (Ex. A Register button that disappears after a user has completed Registration.)
- Select the Segment dropdown to choose the Audience Segment for the CTA button.
Link Collection
- Displays a scrollable list of icons that can redirect to an in-app section or a URL.
How to Create a Widget Screen
- Navigate to the Widget Screens section listed under Content
- Click the + Add button to create a new Widget Screen
- Enter a title for the Widget Screen Name
How to Assign a Widget to a Widget Screen
- Navigate to the Widget Screens section listed under content
- Select or create a new Widget Screen
- Click + Add New Widget
- Select the desired Widget from the dropdown. (Image Widget, Call to Action Button, Text, Title & Subtitle, Link Collection)
How to assign a Widget Screen to a Bottom Navigation Button
- Navigate to the App Layout section
- Select Bottom Bar
- Click the pencil icon to adjust the redirection to an existing bottom nav button, or click Add New Tab Item to create a new bottom nav button
