Onboarding Screens

By default every app needs 2 onboarding screens– location permission screen and notification permission screen.

The Registration request screen, App tracking transparency permission screen and Bluetooth permission screen are used dependent on the needs and features included in the App.

To Edit an Onboarding Screen

Click the pencil on the right. To turn it on or off in the App, click on the toggle ON/OFF button.

You can edit the title of an onboarding screen, keep it simple and short!

You can edit the description as well, keep it also simple & short and extremely explicit on why do we need the user's permission to set the feature.

Example: By enabling notifications, you receive updates and reminders around event details, offers, and more.

Note

Once the App is submitted and goes through review, Apple and Google review teams will reject the App if they judge that the wording used in the App Onboarding is vague or does not explicitly say why we are requesting the user's permission to their device.
