Types of Ads

There are two distinct types of Ads you can create in the Mobile CMS: Banner Ads and Interstitial Ads. If you have purchased the ads package, they can be adjusted in the CMS under the "Communicate" section within the "Ads" tab:

 

Note: Ads can be configured at any time over the air. Simply hit "Publish" to see your changes in the app!

 

You can also display as many ads as you like! The app seamlessly rotates between your ads, ensuring maximum visibility without compromising screen space.

Banner ads can be used to promote a sponsor or your business. It gives you the possibility to sell tickets, advertise for a show, lineup announcement, etc. The possibilities are almost limitless.

 

Each Ad is composed of: 

1.An image asset:

  • Width: 654px 
  • Height: 100px (recommended) but can be unlimited
  • Type: JPEG or PNG

2. A redirection (optional)

3. A weight

  • The weight defines how often the ad should be displayed (ex: if Ad1 has weight=10 and Ad2 has weight=5, Ad1 will be displayed twice as often as Ad2)


 


Interstitial Ads 

Interstitial Ads are full-screen ads displayed at the app launch. They appear for however long you set, and like banner ads, are clickable! That means that you could make them redirect users to your sponsor's website, for example. 

Each Ad is composed of: 

1.An image asset:

  • Width: 750px (recommended)
  • Height: 1624px
  • Type: JPEG or PNG

2. A redirection (optional)

3. A weight

  • The weight defines how often the ad should be displayed (ex: if Ad1 has weight=10 and Ad2 has weight=5, Ad1 will be displayed twice as often than Ad2)

4. Flexibility for how long the ad should display for (defaulted at 5 seconds)
