The primary function of a Region is to create an audience segment to send push notifications to users in that selected region. 

Target users who are at the event and have the mobile app downloaded. 

How to Create a Region

1. Navigate to the Regions section listed under Content
2. Click + New to create a new region 
3. Enter a name for the region
4. Search for the address in the location bar or enter coordinates
5. Radius (meters) - set the range for the region in meters. The minimum range is 1,600 meters (about 1 mile), and the maximum range is 64,000 meters (about 40 miles).
